Do I need to know the rules?
Not at all. We'll teach you in a few minutes. The basics are simple. The strategy is what takes a lifetime.
Do I need to bring equipment?
No. We have boards and stones. Just show up.
Is it ok to come alone?
Most people do. You'll be paired up for a game straight away.
How do I find you inside McSwiggans?
We're usually out the back. You'll easily see the Go boards once you're nearby. Come say hello.
Is there a cost?
The club is free. Most people grab a tea, coffee, or a pint. The venue looks after us, so we look after them.
What skill level?
All levels, from complete beginners to experienced players. Everyone's welcome.
